Lord Craven of Hamstead Marshall and his trouble with the Commonwealth

Most royalist nobility lost their estates in the Civil War, but Lord Craven of Hamstead Marshall was an exception. Dr Manfred Brod, a historian who specialises in early-modern Berkshire, will explain how the extensive Craven land-holdings were regained.

All welcome. Non-members are invited to make a donation of £3. Free parking and refreshments after the event.
