Newbury College - the first 70 years and the next 10

The talk will provide a brief overview of the 70-year history of Newbury College, from its origins in 1948 to its current work on the 40-acre site in Monks Lane. There will then be a summary of the College's plans and an opportubity to discuss how the College can best meet the needs of its community in future.

Iain Wolloff took over as principal of Newbury College in 2018. He is originally form Leicester and began his teaching career in East London, before taking up a senior role as Dean of faculty at romley College. He then joined the senior team at Farnborough College, becoming the Deputy Principal in 2010.

The Parish Room is on the north side of the Church building, accessed from Newtown Road. The Church has a small car park, or on-street parking in the meter bays on Newtown Road is currently free in the evenings. Admission is free for members or £2.50 for non-members to include tea or coffee and biscuits. Visitors are most welcome.
