Treasures of the Anglo-Saxons: Sutton Hoo and the Staffordshire Hoard

Sue Ellis looks at the treasures of the Sutton Hoo ship burial, buried in the sixth century and excavated in 1939, and the hoard of treasures found in Staffordshire in 2009, and probably deposited in the seventh century.

Members free, Visitors £2. Membership for the year is £10. Refreshments after the talk. All welcome.
