Dr Glenn Middleton will talk about Associated Electrical Industries, which owned Aldermaston Court after WW2 and developed the Merlin Nuclear Reactor. A.E.I. bought Aldermaston Court after WWII and went on to develop the first private nuclear reactor onsite, and so began Aldermaston’s connection with the UK nuclear industry.
