The Newbury Geology Society is run by a group of volunteers who arrange trips to sites ofgeological interest. Trips are normally day trips within 115 miles or roughly two hours drivingtime from Newbury. We also have weekend trips to sites which cannot be visited in one day.For most trips a qualified geologist provides the expertise.
Membership is free and open to all and it is not necessary to have any knowledge of the subject or to live in the Newbury area. There is a small charge for most trips. More information can be found in the 'About' section of the website.
