Roman Literacy

BAS Lecture series. Dr Hella Eckhardt (Reading University) teaches provincial Roman archaeology and material culture studies. Her research ficuses on the theoretical approaches to the material culture of the north western provinces and she is particularly interested in the relationship betwene the consumption of Roman objects and the expression of social and cultural identities.
