The Annual General Meeting this Thursday is an opportunity to find out what the Society has been doing, and for members to have a say in determining its future direction and priorities. The agenda was included in the circulation of the Autumn newsletter.
We hope to keep the formal business of the AGM fairly brief. Following it Dr Tony Vickers will give a talk on Tax and the Built Environment. The Government's taxation policy can have a significant effect on the way the property industry behaves. Tony will be using examples from the Newbury area in discussing this.
Admission to meetings is £1 for Society members, £2.50 for visitors, to include tea or coffee and biscuits.
