A walk back in time around Lambourn - Festival of Archaeology

Lambourn is the name given to West Berkshire's largest parish as well as the river running thorugh it, the chalk sdowns around and the settlement nestling in the valley. This area has a rich archaeological heritage. This guided walk around the small town of Lambourn, with Sarah Orr of West Berkshire Coucnil archaeology service, will discuss past discoveries and examine the surviving historic environment recource. Free but registration is essential, when more information including meeting point will be supplied. Suitable for children aged 7+.
