Local historian Dr David Peacock has researched, written about and taught the history of West Berkshire and the Newbury area for man years. A major Roman road crosses West Berkshire, heading from Silchester to Cirencester, part of an engineered national network. This talk looks at the route of the road, and the evidence for it, together with the road which branched off towards Roman Bath.
