Half Light - a play by Andy Kempe, drawing on the WW2 history of newbury during the war.
An old chest discovered in a dim corner of his mother's loft holds a number of surpises for John and provides an insight into what VE Day meant for different members of his family. Ultimately John is faced with a moral dilemma as part of his mother's life is revealed to him for the first time. Set in newbury, and drawing on research into actual events that happened in the town during WW2, Half-Light was specially written as part of Greenham Tower's commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the end of WW2 last year.
