A Charity set up in 1945 to commemorate the Great War and Second World War by provision of a memorial hall and playing fields. The Charity also manages the Thatcham War Memorial, and Remembrance events.

The Forum is a partnership established to record, promote and protect the heritage of West Berkshire. Membership consists of heritage, history and other related groups in West Berkshire, together with all parishes.

West Berkshire Museum is housed in two of Newbury's best loved historic buiildings, the 17th century Cloth Hall, and the old Granary/Corn Stores in The Wharf. Entry is free but donations are most welcome.
